Welcome to the Ratoath branch of the Irish Countrywomen's Association, the largest women's organisation in Ireland.
With over 30 years involvement in our local community, our guild is very active and constantly reaching out to residents who have made Ratoath their home. The aim of ICA is to bring women together for a social gathering, We are the only group solely for women in our area, we welcome ladies of all ages and professions as well as “stay at home ladies”. Under our umbrella we have different groups within the guild, ie Book Club, Theatre club, Scrabble group, Singing group and a Travel group, who travel abroad each year. Our regular meetings include talks and demonstrations of various kinds, always interesting and thought provoking. We meet on the first Tuesday of every month at 8pm in the community centre and newcomers are always made welcome.

This year 2010 the Association celebrates its Centenary. This will be a great occasion and an opportunity to celebrate and honour the women of vision who founded the ICA, as well as those who through their hard work and dedication sustained and built the ICA during its first 100 years.
